Tim started his career in the financial services industry over 30 years ago, working for Prudential as an insurance agent.
During his time there, he progressed to being the top financial adviser out of a community of 9,000 operating in the UK. He went on to gain nine consecutive ‘star awards’ and built up a wealth of industry knowledge and many personal and corporate clients.
Tim’s desire to offer his clients the best possible advice and products led him and business partner, Grant Kingston, to set up Chapel Independent Financial Advisers in October 2000. He was delighted that the business was invited to be a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management in October 2019.
Tim has attained the Diploma in Financial Planning and believes that the key to success is putting clients’ needs first, backed up by the highest quality face-to-face advice.
The ongoing loyalty and repeat business that he gets from existing clients is reflected by his sheer hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to serving his clients.
Grant started his career in the financial services industry over 25 years ago, working for Prudential as a financial consultant and sales manager.
Grant and Tim founded Chapel Independent Financial Advisers in October 2000, with the aim of providing the highest quality financial and investment planning advice to people who are committed to making the most of their money and life. Reiterating Tim’s sentiments, Grant was also thrilled with Chapel’s appointment to St. James’s Place Wealth Management in October 2019.
Grant has attained Chartered Status, the profession’s gold standard for financial planners. All Chartered Financial Planners adhere to a respected code of ethics and have completed a suite of qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
Andy started his career in financial services at Barclays in 1997 and soon qualified as a financial adviser, working closely with private individuals and corporate clients, including parliamentary and global organisations.
In 2006, Andy was approached to join AXA Wealth and was central to the launch of their award-winning Elevate platform and worked in partnership with successful businesses, including Chapel IFA.
Andy’s depth of knowledge was further extended when he joined Aegon UK to help build and lead a thriving wealth division.
In more recent times, Andy has joined St James’s Place and is delighted to be a Partner of Chapel Wealth Management LLP, where he has returned to his passion for delivering bespoke face-to-face financial planning and wealth management services to his clients.
With over 20+ years industry experience, Andy has a deep and broad expertise and understanding in many areas, including pension planning, investment planning, inheritance tax planning and trust* planning.

David has gained over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector, with both an advice and administration background and has the Diploma in financial planning. He joined Chapel in 2013 and works directly with Tim as support for his many clients.
Paul has been working within the financial services sector since 2001 and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning. Joining us in 2019 with his advice and administration background, he is providing full time support to Grant and his many clients.
Tracy has been working within the financial services sector for over 14 years and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during this time. Tracy works directly with Tim as support to his many clients and joined Chapel in 2019.
